Experienced teachers who have taught Pre-AP for at least one full instructional year can engage in additional, optional professional learning. The experienced teacher online module will launch in Pre-AP Classroom in June 2021, and serves to reinforce key program ideas, while supporting teachers in refining instructional practices, and planning for the upcoming school year.
Pre-AP educators engaging with the experienced teacher module will also have the option to join an Experienced Teacher Virtual Cohort. These live, virtual classes extend learning from the on-demand module and provide an opportunity for educators to collaborate with Pre-AP National Faculty and peers. Participants will be eligible for Continuing Education Units.
Experienced Pre-AP teachers are not required to complete additional professional learning. All experienced teacher offerings are optional.
A variety of dates and times will be available when registration opens in April 2021.
