Are the courses comprehensive, or do they allow for use of local resources, content, and curriculum already developed?

The courses are in part designed by College Board and in part designed by the participating school. The Pre-AP course frameworks are comprehensive. However, College Board provides sample instructional materials for each course that will cover up to 50% of instructional time—thereby leaving a significant amount of time for usage of local curricula and content.
