Getting Started with Pre-AP

After placing your order for Pre-AP, there are three steps that you need to take as soon as possible:

  1. Complete Course Audit: Pre-AP Course Audit is now open. Learn more about what teachers and Course Audit administrators need to do to complete this critical first step.
  2. Access Pre-AP Classroom: Learn how to do this using the Pre-AP Classroom Guide for Teachers, Pre-AP Classroom Guide for Students, and the Pre-AP Classroom User Guide for Administrators and Coordinators.
  3. Complete Professional Learning: Understand the professional learning available, and the commitments, for teachers and administrators.

Communications Postorder

The Pre-AP program will send important information to you through email. To ensure that you, your teachers, and your students receive program communications related to account creation, account recovery, newsletters, please have your technology team place the following email addresses on your district's allow list:

Immediately after the order is placed: The orderer, the principal, Pre-AP coordinator, and the Course Audit administrator will receive an email confirming that the order has been received.

Three to five business days after the order is placed: The orderer, the principal, Pre-AP coordinator, and the Course Audit administrator will receive an email with the important next steps for Course Audit, Pre-AP Classroom access, and professional learning.

Program newsletters: The principal, the Pre-AP coordinator and Pre-AP teachers will receive program newsletters on a regular basis (usually once or twice per month.) You may need to adjust your email communication preferences in your College Board account settings.
