Are there end-of-course assessments (EOCs) in Pre-AP courses?

No. Pre-AP courses don’t have an end-of-course assessment that competes with or replaces an individual state’s assessment. The English 1, English 2, Algebra 1, Biology, Chemistry, and World History and Geography courses have final exams that a teacher normally has in any class. Final exams will be more in line with what a teacher might already offer in their own class and wouldn’t be equivalent to a state assessment.
