Why offer Pre-AP?

College Board developed Pre-AP to offer every student the opportunity to know how much they can grow in school and in life. This program delivers that opportunity at a critical time for student learning.

Many students enter high school below grade level. In addition, they become less motivated to learn and less engaged in their coursework. We’ve collaborated closely with students, parents, and educators to ensure that Pre-AP engages students and addresses these challenges.
