To implement Pre-AP in your school, you’ll need to select teachers or staff to fill these roles. These tables give an overview of each role’s responsibilities, access, and more.
AP and Pre-AP
Pre-AP and AP share many of the same resources, so in some cases you won’t need to take any additional steps to access Pre-AP resources. For example, if your school already has an AP coordinator who has access to AP Classroom, that person will automatically have the same level of access to Pre-AP Classroom, because it’s the same platform. See the tables for details.
Important Notes
Schools must complete the Pre-AP Course Audit to receive official Pre-AP course designation and access to Pre-AP Classroom for course teachers.
Pre-AP Classroom is the online platform for teacher and student instructional resources, assessments, and online professional learning. Coordinators and administrators can access Pre-AP Classroom to view these resources, as well as view or manage course section teachers and class rosters.
