beginning of content:

The summer before their first year teaching a Pre-AP course, educators are required to take part in professional learning offered by College Board. There are two options to meet the professional learning requirement: the in-person Pre-AP Summer Institute and the Pre-AP Online Foundational Module Series. Both options provide continuing education units to teachers who complete the training.

New Pre-AP educators engaging with the Online Foundational Module Series will also have the option to join a Virtual Foundations Cohort, which extends learning from the on-demand modules. These live, virtual classes provide an opportunity for educators to plan for their course and collaborate with Pre-AP National Faculty and peers.
