Annual Calendar for Pre-AP Teachers
Important dates for the school year

| March 1 | Begin registering for Pre-AP Summer Institutes. |
| March 1 | Begin the Pre-AP Course Audit process. Indicate which courses you are teaching and complete attestations. |
| June 1 | Log into Pre-AP Classroom using the same account information you used to complete Course Audit. |
| Summer | If you're a new Pre-AP teacher, complete professional learning by attending the Pre-AP Summer Institute and/or completing the online modules. If you're an experienced Pre-AP teacher, engage in professional learning through online modules. |
| July 1 | Begin setting up classes and enrolling students into Pre-AP Classroom. |
| August–June | Complete at least one online scoring module. |
| September–October | Administer at least one learning checkpoint and the performance task at the appropriate time for Unit 1. |
| December–January | Administer at least one learning checkpoint and the performance task at the appropriate time for Unit 2. |
| March–April | Administer at least one learning checkpoint and the performance task at the appropriate time for Unit 3. |
| May–June | Administer at least one learning checkpoint and the performance task at the appropriate time for Unit 4. |
Note: Assessment schedules are for schools implementing a traditional, not block, schedule. If you are on a block or alternative schedule, you may follow a different schedule.
